Much of the time, new secrets are just old information put in a different way. But you should never quit your search for more and new information. Wasting your time only happens when you seek for information to help and you don't find anything.

Since you are working hard on achieving your fitness goals, why not. If you are dedicated, then you're doing much more than most of the population. Reward yourself with what you like because no one else knows what you like as well as you. Taking time off from fitness may not be the best choice, though. You might as well not even start, if you are going to quit working out. Having a dietary luxury or ice cream treat is okay to indulge in. You can always learn new techniques, even though you are already doing a fitness program. There are many related areas concerning working out and fitness. Your knowledge base can always be built on. Since you don't know everything about your sport, this is a big matter. Just because someone is an expert, doesn't mean that they can't still learn more. So when you keep learning you'll become better at what you do. There are so many aspects of fitness and they start becoming subtle. You can find plenty of books that were written, either recently or long ago, where this information is contained. There are magazines from your sport for learning, as well as DVDs.

If you can afford a fitness trainer, then that's one way to learn all kinds of fitness secrets.
